Mission

Created by a group of authors, translators, and editors, Eukalypto is an independent publishing company that offers its books worldwide, in English and in French, in two paper formats and three digital ones.

Innovative, inclusive, and freethinking, we are also one of the most eco-friendly publishing companies in the world, since our paper books are only produced on demand. Furthermore, 5% of the profits from their sale go to reforestation organisations.

Finally, we are fair publishers, sharing the profits of each book equitably between our authors, our contributors and ourselves.

We're Fair towards
our authors
We do not ask our authors for any financial contribution. Our standard contract is fair and equitable. Authors receive 50% of the net profits generated from the sale of their books in the original language and 35% of the net profits from the sale of their books in translated versions. In addition, they benefit not only from their own book sales, but also from all books sold by Eukalypto within the collection their work is part of, through the “Fair Pot”: 2.5% of the profits from every book sale are equally divided among all authors signed by Eukalypto and published in the same collection.

We are, first and foremost, fair publishers, sharing the profits of each book equitably among the author (50% for the original version and 35% for the translated version), the editorial team (35%), the translation team (15% for translated versions), and ourselves (15%).

We produce the digital books in-house and sell them through our website, while print-on-demand books are designed by us and printed and distributed through dedicated external platforms. This unique formula allows us to rethink and rebalance the relationship between author, publisher, and reader. It also provides our authors with the best offer currently available in publishing, while ensuring our readers receive high-quality books.

Our team continuously reads, selects, and edits submissions from international authors across various genres in preparation for future releases.
